What does the current treatment for RA mean to be completely cured?
The disease called RA has not yet been fully elucidated.
It is estimated that about 40% of the causes of rheumatoid arthritis are due to genes.
The remaining 60% are due to various environmental stressors that add to the human immune system.
At the moment, it is not possible to change the gene.
However, if the combination of injection and oral treatment is used successfully at an early stage, the first goal of remission (kankai = outpatient treatment, no pain or swelling) can be easily achieved.
With standard levels of treatment within 1-2 years of onset, it is unlikely that the deformity will progress to surgery. In addition, many studies have shown that the cure rate (complete cure = drug-free remission, which means that you do not need to go to the hospital or take medicine) increases if the inflammation momentum is small.
You just have to put out the fire every time you start to get sick.
From our experience, it is clear that the treatment period can be shortened and the total dose of the drug can be reduced if appropriate early treatment is performed according to the disease condition.

「windows of opportunity」
It means that there is a best time to start treatment just when RA begins to occur.
In other words, if you miss the timing, it will be hard to heal. Especially for wrists, if you miss this timing and lose cartilage, you will not be able to do push-ups for the rest of your life.
It seems that there are still many patients who have been treated at a specialized medical institution but have difficulty getting rid of pain or have become deformed.
There are several patterns for patients who are not well treated.
One of them is the case where we continue to take Chinese herbs, false immunotherapy and suspicious supplements (many of which are expensive for free medical treatment) due to the belief that "I want to avoid strong medicine" and "I want to cure with natural treatment".
